The owner will guide you through his orchards, explaining the fig varieties and providing you with insight into his experimental cultivation methods. The Farm

The farm is located in the south of Mallorca, in the countryside, just 15 minutes from Palma. The owner, in addition to being a fig lover, is also a pharmacist intrigued by the science of cultivating plants from different climates and sustainable agriculture. His experimental approach has contributed to the scientific knowledge of the fig tree, its fruit, and the eco-agricultural movement.

The farm is divided into seven sectors, with nearly 3000 fig trees and over 1000 varieties, making it the location with the most fig varieties in the world. The owner will guide you, pointing out different shapes, colors, and flavors, originating from all corners of the world.

The Expert

You won't find anyone with more knowledge or passion for figs than the owner of the "finca". Over the years, through a network of friends, acquaintances, farmers, pruners, enthusiasts, and experts of fig trees from around the world, he has been introducing and cultivating fig trees from popular to virtually unknown varieties on his private land. His collection of figs is one of the most diverse in the world.

Your host is also a pharmacist, so nobody can explain the health benefits of these delicious fruits better. In addition to containing high levels of sugar and calories, the delicate skins and juicy flesh of these fruits are rich in calcium, full of vitamins and minerals, possess antioxidant properties, and are an excellent source of fiber.

From Tree to Palate: Enjoy the Fresh Delicacy of Figs

Figs are so delicate that they can easily bruise, even during short transportation journeys. During the harvest months of August and September, you can pick and eat the figs straight from the tree, enjoying them at their freshest.
