Discover an Authentic Mallorcan Possessió

Visit an agronomist at her own home, a typical Mallorcan possessió located in the center of the island. Where tourists don't reach.

A possessió is a home with a history of past generations but also present.

This estate, built at the foot of a mountain within an olive grove landscape, lives up to its toponym:

'Bellveure' in Catalan means 'Beautiful View' and is composed of two parts:

'Bell': Means 'beautiful' or 'pretty.' 'Veure': Means 'see' or 'look.'

So, from this possessió, you can enjoy privileged and exceptional views.

Architectural Delight

The ensemble stands out for its elevation and highly articulated spaces: the clastra, the lookout, and, at its feet, the recreational garden. The clastra is the most monumental in the municipal term, presided over in the background by a facade with a conopial arch window (15th century).

Here, we can't help but admire the stepped slope of the cobblestone and the curious channel of rainwater that crosses it diagonally.

A Journey Through Time

The facade is entirely made of stone ashlars and extends along the miranda. The round portal is centered with a very narrow pedestal balcony. The portal of the chapel surprises with its fidelity to medieval tradition.

It possesses a pointed arch and has the JHS monogram with the date 1640 inserted. Inside, period furniture is preserved, and above the altar, there is a painting of the Puríssima that can be attributed to the painter Miquel Bestard (Palma 1592-1633).
